How to Use a Rivet Press

Install rivets perfectly in just seconds using one of our KAMsnaps rivet presses.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

• Double cap rivet dies  in the same size as the rivets
• And one of the following presses:
• KX8J pro-handheld
• KX-T2 pro-standup press
• DK93 table press  with   DK93-KX adapter base

ALSO RECOMMENDED:

• 2.5mm hole cutting dies

Which rivet size do you need?

• For purse straps:  our 10mm rivets are generally recommended for vinyl straps, and 9mm or 8mm for fabric straps--though there is some overlap.
• For key fobs, snap tabs, decorative purposes:  9mm, 8mm, 6mm, or   crystal rivets
• (The "size" represents the diameter of the cap, not the length.)
