Size 20 regular and size 16 regular are the 2 most commonly used sizes of KAM plastic snaps when it comes to baby and toddler clothing. Which size will work best for you depends on the fabric at the point where the snaps go through.
If the fabric is sturdy, not prone to tearing or stretching, then size 20 is recommended. Size 20 is commonly used on bibs. However, if the fabric is stretchy, delicate, or thin, such as knits likes onesies, then size 16 will work better to prevent tearing due to the gentler grip. Please note that any fabric prone to tearing should be reinforced with sturdier material, such as twill or interface, to protect the fabric from ripping over time.
