It works really well but I think it's too expensive for removing an occasional snap. It can be done using nail clippers

Works beautifully....
I ordered this because I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to install plastic snaps (as a precaution). I haven't had any misfortune yet with regular installation, but I did try the snap remover dies anyway....and they are awesome !
