Common applications:

Purse straps - 8mm or 9mm normally recommended for fabric straps, 10mm for vinyl /leather straps.
Key fobs (aka "snap" tabs) - 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, crystal
The above are just suggestions. There is flexibility in sizes for each application. Generally speaking, use longer rivets for thicker material and shorter rivets for thinner.

Approximate rivet measurements:

Cap diameter: 6mm (Small)

Stem Length: 6mm
Stem Diameter: 2.4mm

Cap diameter: 8mm, 9mm (Medium)

Stem Length: 6-8mm
Stem Diameter: 2.6mm

Why did I wait so long?

I have had the magnetic rivet w snaps for months now and I just used one in a tote bag. I love how easy it is to use. I have the traditional magnetic snaps but I was afraid to use them. These are so easy to use. I love the regular rivets so this is not much different!

The Snaps Saved the Day

I needed something that was gonna look good and be easy. One of my sisters who had previously used this product told me about it, and so I ordered it right away.. It was worth waiting for… so easy to use and they look so nice. Sorry no picture, I guess I did not take one before I sent off the Christmas gift.. but these are easy to use and life savers for sure.

I LOVE these! They are so easy to use and installing magnetic snaps have never been simpler. They take maybe 3 mins. to install. I also love the color variety you get to choose although one day, maybe we will have more colors to choose from. I can't rave about this product enough! Would 100% recommend!
