You may hear a single small pop as each clip is broken in, which is normal. Please note these are harder to pinch than Wonder brand clips, but they are also a fraction of the cost.
Get rid of your pins. These tiny binding clips make it easy to hold multiple layers of fabric for sewing, quilting, and all sorts of crafts.
Each clip opens wide and the clip base is flat for easy feeding to the presser foot and won't damage your fabric. The flat side has convenient markings to indicate different seam allowances (see images).
