While we can't promise that our dies will work properly with every single double cap rivet on the market, many people are able to use some successfully.
The biggest potential discrepancy as far as the double cap rivets go would be the curvature of the cap. Some rivets are more rounded while others are flatter and that could result in some cosmetic (not functional) imperfection when setting those rivets. (Our double cap rivets have a more rounded head.)
Because we can't guarantee compatibility when using our dies with fasteners from other sources, be sure to practice on scraps first, preferably using the identical layers as your actual project.
