For some craft projects, you'll need to remove the wire backs from cover buttons to convert it to a flat back surface. Some projects such as for bracelets/earrings/necklaces/etc... need a flat surface to adhere the cover button to your jewelry findings.
Here's a quick and easy guide on how to remove the wire backs:
1. Using needle-nose pliers, grab the sides of the wire loop.
2. Pinch the sides together with pliers.
3. Wire will easily pop out, leaving you with a flat back for your cover button. =)
