Sea-bands are a fabulous product that helps with nausea. They're little bracelets that hit an acupressure point on the inside of your wrist which helps to reduce nausea related to motion or morning sickness. These bands don't rely on anti-nausea drugs so are completely natural and safe for both adults and children. ( How to wear instructions.)
If you can't afford to buy a Sea-band, you can easily make something similar with some elastic and size 20 KAM plastic snaps.

"Make shift quick and cheap "sea bands"! I threw these together quickly before we headed to the mountains for my daughter who gets car sick and they worked! One side of the snap holds the band together. The other applies pressure to the pressure point that works the magic All made from leftovers from diaper making. Fold over elastic comes in lots of colors and patterns too! And they get lost here so I'm not out $15 every time she misplaces them."
To be effective, be sure to wear one band on each wrist. Instructions are for one band.
Materials needed:
Cut a piece of FOE to the size of your wrist, less 1/2". Example, if your wrist measures 7", cut a 6 1/2" piece of FOE. A pply fray check to both elastic ends. If you don't have fray check, you can use a lighter and singe the ends to prevent fraying.
Take a piece of elastic and install the female half of a snap through both ends, with the smooth side of the snap (cap side) facing out and the socket/female side facing inward.
Snap the male half (consisting of male + cap) onto the inside of the elastic band. That male half will hit the acupressure point inside the wrist.
