Use the same idea whenever a rubber band won't do. Rubber bands and other fasteners can break over time, leave unsightly indentations, get lost easily, and be cumbersome to use on long rolls. Snap ties solve all those problems and can be used for embroidery stabilizer rolls, fabric/vinyl rolls, cable cords... you name it! Use your scrap fabric to make these ties, a KAMsnaps pliers or press, and size 20 snaps.
