Punches out a small hole, approx 1.5mm wide, for snaps and rivets. For most materials, these will cut out an actual hole. Unlike our " hole cutting dies," these "hole punch dies" utilize a pointed tip rather than a bladed circle to make the hole.

Note: As a result of a storage leak, dies have minor surface rusting which does not affect function. Rust can be wiped off with vinegar. See last thumbnail photo. Sales are final.

Works great for thinner pieces

I purchased this thinking I was going to use it on some leather, but I guess the leather was too thick. It sort of dented the leather, and there was no way you could get a rivet stem through that very tiny hole. So buyer just be aware. However, it worked well for thinner fabrics, paper, etc., and rivets went through those fine.

1.5 punch

This is great for marking areas without leaving a large hole. Just in case your a smidgen off it's not going to impede the hole punching. I really like this. Now to find a 2.0 punch and I'm set.
