Awesome product

Love the tutorial videos, this is so easy to use and does not hurt my hands (which are getting old and harder to do things with).

can't imagine a better tool for the job!

i did a lot of research on different types of tools, but everyone on the internet definitely recommends kamsnaps for a reason. some of the more common handheld-type tools seem to produce inconsistent/unpredictable results and i really couldn't imagine spending hours on a sewing project just to ruin it when i went to put in the closures! additionally, like many sewists, i have weakness in my hands/wrists and try to mitigate tedious tasks whenever possible. this mini table press is really easy to use, and stable even without the mounting equipment. my results have been perfect every single time and with way less pressure than i expected. i am not worried about any part of the tool breaking & the metal snaps are very secure as well. i am excited to have a tool that can potentially perform so many functions. definitely recommend!!! :)

Neat little gadget

My husband had a major heart attack and 2 strokes 2 yrs ago that left him weaker than he was and this tool has made it easier for him to put the snaps on my projects. He also likes the wider throat on this new tool.

Better for people with hand problems

I have the smaller version that comes in the kit. I can use it with success. But the stand version is much easier to use. The base was raw wood, and needed a little sanding to keep from snagging the fabric. But that was easily remedied.

Love this!

I originally bought an assortment of plain-style KAM snaps, which included a handheld press. I used it to apply 60 snaps on some adaptive clothing. The handheld press worked, but was dependent on my hand strength and was tiring. The standing press is a game changer! I can apply KAM snaps securely, on a variety of fabrics, without fatigue. The handheld press is fine for applying a few snaps on lightweight cotton fabric. The standing press is superior for applying a lot of snaps or on thicker fabrics (sweatshirts).
