These adorable Mickey and Minnie Mouse Cup Cozies add a fun touch to your morning cup of joe. KAM snap fasteners were used to design the buttons for Mickey's pants, and the polka dots for Minnie's dress.
Marine vinyl was used in this project, but you can use any material that will not fray such as felt or faux leather. These cup sleeves were designed to fit a standard take out coffee cup, but please be sure to check your cup dimensions and adjust the pattern if needed. You can also use a disposable cup sleeve that from your local coffee shop and trace your pattern from that.
Materials needed:
Download pattern. Trace onto your fabric and cut.

Install your snaps at the sides of your fabric as shown (front and back view).
Fasten your side snaps together and slide over your coffee cup (front and back view).
Now on to Minnie!

Cut a 5" piece of ribbon. Apply fray check to both ribbon ends, or use a lighter and singe the ends to prevent fraying.
Hot glue each end to the center.
Fold ribbon in half down the center and hot glue in place.
Cut a 1" piece of ribbon, wrap it around the center of your bow, and hot glue closed, making sure the seam is in the back. Your bow will look like the 2nd photo.
